This week, our Cobras took on something completely new — Rumble! 👊
Rumble is a fun, fast-paced activity designed by the World Martial Arts Committee (WMAC). It’s a brilliant way to introduce younger martial artists to the idea of competition in a playful and positive environment.
Instead of full sparring, Rumble focuses on speed, timing, accuracy, and movement. The aim is to remove coloured tags from your partner’s belt while defending your own — encouraging quick reactions, fair play, and great control.
Our Cobras loved it! The class was full of energy, laughter, and some seriously quick moves. It gave them a taste of the skills used in fighting without any contact pressure, and a few of them have already said they’d love to compete in Rumble events in the future.
Even our teens got curious and joined in for their warm-up session, testing their reflexes and enjoying the challenge. It’s safe to say Rumble might become a regular feature in our training — and who knows, maybe Team NSK will be taking some of our Cobras to compete next year! 💪
We love seeing our students trying new things, stepping outside their comfort zones, and discovering fresh ways to learn. Rumble was the perfect mix of fun, focus, and friendly competition — exactly what our club is all about.
Well done to everyone who got involved!
